Our Owner
Gloria Korlou was born in Hartford, Connecticut with a father who worked as a music executive. Growing up, on the way to church on Sundays, Gloria was raised on Elvis and his gospel, and that childhood adoration turned into a full blown appreciation into later years. After high school, Gloria became a Software Engineer and found her regular 9-5 to be mundane and strived to bridge the gap between technology, music, and history - and Elvis!
Striving to find her own path to the industry, in late 2020, Gloria founded Gate Girl Records, the only female-lead hip-hop management agency, vinyl distribution team, and restoration company, all at twenty-six years old - straight from Memphis.
Embodying the legacy of Elvis and the evolution of music to come from Memphis - Gate Girl Records found it's foundation. Priscilla Presley gave her blessings to the company inception and concept in August 2024.
Today, Gloria works solely on the careers of brothers Project Pat and Juicy J - as their manager on the road, marketing, merchandise, and for Project Pat's personal foundation, Breakin Baggs. Artists in all realms of hip-hop, rock, pop, and various genres now connect with Gate Girl Records for the quality and continual support witnessed to current onboarded artists.
Gate Girl Records is a combined passion for Memphis, Tennessee - the community, the legacy, and how music has brought us all together. All roads lead to Memphis!
